For many, homeownership is the foundation of financial stability and generational wealth. Yet, systemic barriers have made access to fair mortgage solutions more difficult for Black Americans. The Black Lives Matter Mortgage Division was created to provide customized mortgage strategies, financial education and ongoing support to help communities of color build lasting wealth.

We are dedicated to fostering equality and supporting the Black community. Our Black Lives Matter Mortgage Division exemplifies this commitment by donating 10% of all net revenue to Black Lives Matter every quarter. Our Mission

We recognize that true freedom and equality are achieved only when all individuals, regardless of race, can live without fear and enjoy the same opportunities. Until the African-American community and all people of color in the United States are safe to walk, drive, ask questions of law enforcement, travel to any state and participate fully in society without prejudice, our work remains unfinished.

Why We Do It

MPS owes much of its success to the support of Austin’s Black southern Baptist congregations and their extended communities. Their trust and partnership have been instrumental in building our company and we remain deeply grateful.

Our Actions

We believe that real change requires more than words and financial contributions — it demands deliberate action. To this end, we:

Promote Inclusion and Fairness: Continuously refine our corporate culture and marketing efforts to prioritize inclusivity and equity.
Listen and Educate: Engage with our clients to understand their experiences and provide free real estate and mortgage education to communities of color through civic organizations and places of worship.
Support Generational Wealth: Assist communities of color in acquiring and maintaining real estate portfolios, thereby building generational wealth that offers financial flexibility, access to higher education and opportunities for investment and entrepreneurship.
